From Coach Rafferty: Today Marshwood High School boys tennis took on a tough competitor in Thornton Academy. Thornton's elite swept the young MHS boys side in singles play. Alex Rafferty and Ethan Waddell put up a gritty fight for first doubles but came out on the losing end. Second doubles Fisher Drisko and Parker Dixon fought hard against the strong opponent but lost 0-6, 0-6. This young team is strong, resilient and will continue to move forward in a positive direction.
