Sophomore Charlie Hudson earned the win on the mound going five innings over the Gorham Rams during a 6-4 win. The Hawks had 8 hits and Sophomore Ronan Garrett broke the game open with a two out, two RBI double to make the game 6-3. The Hawks improve to 2-0 on the season.

Scarborough High School will host the Consider Canada College Tour on Thursday, May 4th, from 6:00 - 8:30 PM. This event is open to the public. Starting at 6:00 PM, Admission Counselors will talk about studying in Canada and some FAQs for about 30 minutes. After that, it will be an open college fair. This is a drop-in event, so attendees can stay as long or as short as they want. I've attached the flyer with the confirmed colleges that will be attending. April 20th 2023 MHS boys tennis versus Portland. Portland wins 5-0. In their first home match of the season MHS Boys Tennis took on Portland. Jeremy Turner lost 0-6, 0-6 in his match. David Duval lost 2-6, 0-6. Alex Rafferty stepped in to play his first singles match as a freshman. He fought hard but lost in a two set tiebreaker. Wyatt Cripe and Ethan waddell lost their first doubles match to a strong duo. Fisher Driscoll and Parker Dixon lost second doubles 1-6, 3-6. With such a young team the boys have been so positive and look forward to a strong season.

Marshwood boys tennis outlook from Coach Rafferty April 11th preseason scrimmage versus York. MHS boys tennis took on York. Overall score being MHS O York 5. The MHS boys team fought hard as a team. Jeremy Turner, David Duval and Zack Ferioli proved to be formidable opponents to the seasoned York team. Alex Rafferty and Ethan Waddell lost in two sets 3-6, 3-6. Parker Dixon and Fisher Drisko lost 2-6, 4-6. This young team led by Jeremy Turner who is a senior has tremendous potential! 🎾

Marshwood Girls Tennis results SINGLES Tia Anderson won 6-3, 6-3 Sam Arnold won 6-1, 6-2 Lucy Parker won 6-0, 6-1 DOUBLES Kiley Colman/Hannah Hodges lost 6-1, 5-7, 6-2 Pamela Daskoski/Brianne Prisby won 6-4, 3-6, (10-2 in match tiebreaker) 1st time varsity duo Pamela Daskoski and Brianne Prisby earned a clutch victory at 2nd doubles leveraging precision baseline drives that set up punishing volley winners at net. Marshwood takes it to Portland with a 4-1 match win.
