
Marshwood High School Student Rowan Waddell
Makes Rotary Presentation
Rowan Waddell was a recipient of a South Berwick/Eliot Rotary grant that helped to sponsor her trip to Italy. Rowan spent time with her host family in Terni, Italy. She returned with her exchange student host, Mati. Mati joined the Waddell family to visit and learn about the New England area.
Rowan and Mati made their presentation to Rotary members and shared their travel experiences. Mati presented the Rotary with a flag from Termi, Italy

Congrats to former Marshwood grad Kelvin Peterson. Kelvin attends Wheaton College (Mass.) men's outdoor track & field was named to the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association All-East Region Team, it was announced by the USTFCCCA.

Marshwood in conjunction with Wentworth Douglass Hospital will be offering sports physicals for and HS and MS athletes age 12 + in August. Physicals are required for participation. See attached flyer. Aug 9th in Ports office and Aug 11 in Somersworth. Must make appt via phone.


Shelby Anderson becomes the first Marshwood Track athlete to place at the New England Championships, finishing 2nd in Javelin with a school record throw of 131 - 6. Congratulations Shelby!!

Hawks baseball will travel to Thornton Academy Sat Jun 11 for a 11am game for the right to play in South final next week! #HawkPride

Congratulations to the baseball team for their upset of #4 seeded Scarborough in the baseball 1/4 finals today. They will play Saturday at the winner of this afternoons Sanford-Thornton matchup. Time TBD tomorrow

Boys lax will continue on in their playoff quest of gold after beating Kennebunk behind Kevin Couglar’s monster game. They will take on #1 seed Messalonskee on Sat Jun 11 at 2pm. #HawkPride

Marshwood High School Seniors Visit Portsmouth Shipyard
The Marshwood High School Counseling Department recently organized a trip to the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard for a group of seniors. These students spent the morning touring the facility and learning about all of the available opportunities and benefits offered at the shipyard. They also toured several of the shops including Welding, Machining, Shipwrights, and the Innovation Lab.

Baseball playoff at Scarboro today has been postponed due to field conditions. Make up will be Friday June 10 at 1pm

Girls lax lose a tough one to Scarboro 12-10. Great season Hawks
