Ice Hockey beat the Kennebunk Rams 4-2. Ryan Dumont, Truck Tellefsen, Danny Fuller, and Nathan Jalbert scored. TJ Brown stopped 29 of 31 shots in net for the Knighthawks.
The Knighthawks play next in Dover on Saturday at 5:30 against Lake Region.

In what started as the battle of the zones, the Scots outscored the Hawks 13-5 in the first quarter. The Hawks answered in the second quarter to be up by 1 at the half. But the battle continued into three OTs, and the Hawks were able to hold off the Scots and get the win.
Sophie Mitchell led the Hawks with 17pts followed by Savannah Nashwinter with 13, Sarah Theriault with 12, and Mia Constantakos with 11.
The Hawks are on the road to Brunswick on Thursday.

The Marshwood IH lost to Scarborough 6-2 at Dover on Monday. Bradley Wentworth and Nathan Jalbert scored for the Knighthawks. Ben Ott stopped 19 of 24 shots in net, Sumner Wood stopped 9 of 10 shots in relief.

Boys Hoop update. KENNEBUNK 68, MARSHWOOD 63: Keegan Andrews hit three 3-pointers in the fourth quarter, including a go-ahead basket immediately after Marshwood took its first lead since the first quarter, and the Rams (7-5) held on for a win over the Hawks (8-4) in South Berwick.
Andrews finished with 16 points, Ty Kane had 15, Connor Keefe 14 and Joseph Kiezulas 10 for Kennebunk.
Marshwood was paced by Andrew Perry with 22 points, Aidan Sullivan with 19 and Jason Singer with 10.

Girls BasketballMARSHWOOD 46, KENNEBUNK 35: Jasmine Aloisio scored 18 points and Savannah Nashwinter chipped in 11 as the Hawks (3-7) defeated the Rams (0-9) in Kennebunk.
Nashwinter had three 3-pointers and Aloisio made two for the Hawks, who outscored the Rams 26-10 in the second half.

The School Counseling Department hosted a Career Panel Presentation for all sophomores yesterday. There were representatives from Fire/Health Sciences, Southern Maine Crabs, Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Human Services, The Continuum Arts Collective, and the Thule Group. The speakers were all dynamic and were able to share with the sophomore class how they got to the career they are in and what they would told their sophomore self now. There was a lot of positive responses from students and staff after the presentation.

After a slow start, the Hawks outscored the Knights 19-8 in the 3rd quarter to take the lead and the win. The turnaround was sparked by Ella Aceto who scored all of her 8pts in that quarter. Sophie Mitchell added to the run with two big 3's and also scoring 8 of her 18pts in the 3rd.
The Hawks were lead in scoring by Sophie Mitchell with 18pts, followed by Sarah Theriault and Ella Aceto with 8pts a piece.
The Hawks are on the road to Kennebunk on Friday.

The Marshwood Knighthawks tied the Windham Trail Blazers 1-1 at USM Gorham Arena on Saturday. Caden Fontaine scored the goal for the Knighthawks. Sumner Wood stopped 16 of 17 shots in net.

Ski News-Marshwood Marshwood wins five-team giant slalom
BRIDGTON, Maine – Quinn Maguire placed second in the giant slalom course in 1 minute, 08.79 seconds and teammate Zach Glidden was third (1:11.55) was third, leading Marshwood to the win at Shawnee Peak.
Marshwood won with a team score of 27 points, while Kennebunk (48), Windham (49), Gorham (50) and Falmouth (83) placed second through fifth, respectively.
Marshwood’s Kai Machamer (1:16.54) was ninth, and Connor Carey (1:18.94) was 13th.
Individually, Traip Academy’s Aram Brewer (1:22.92) was 16th.
Marshwood places second in five-team giant slalom
BRIDGTON, Maine – Marshwood's Hadley Prewitt placed first (1:09.91) and teammate Lydia Phipps (1:12.32) was second in this five-team giant slalom event at Shawnee Peak.
Windham won with a team score of 23 points, while Marshwood (28), Falmouth (33), Kennebunk (67) and Gorham (128) placed second through fifth, respectively.
Marshwood’s Serafina Melino (1:19.53) placed ninth overall, while teammate Sarah Beth McClellan (1:28.54) was 16th.
